Question About Prerequisites

Hi, I'll try and keep this short.

So I'm double majoring in sociology and multimedia, problem is that I'm missing a 2nd year course this year. Specifically 2J03 for Multimedia, while I already plan on seeing an academic adviser I wanted to ask what effect missing this one class would have? I plan on taking it in 3rd year obviously, but will I encounter many problems progressing in multimedia despite it only being one course?
