Summer School Prerequisites
I want to do a second year course in summer school (like Chem 2OA3 or Bio 2C03) but it won't let me register because I don't have the prerequisites yet.
Should I just wait for the exam marks to be put in and everything or is there another way I can go about getting into a summer course?

You have to go see an academic advisor and get it waived. I've had to do that in the past. Or, you can probably speak to the prof and they'll waive it, but your best bet is an academic advisor.

I had to do the same for Chem 2OA3. If you decide you wanna take it, you can just email Eszter Bell of the Chemistry department ( [email protected]) and ask her for a course waiver form. You just fill it out and drop it off, and they should grant you a waiver.

I didn't even have to fill out a form. I just talked to an academic advisor and she did it right away.

It's already been said, but I just want to add that you should probably do it asap as registration for summer courses are almost ending and depending on how you get it waived, it could take a while.

Smart idea. Both those courses are rape especially the exams. Unfortunately I had both exams together RIP virginity.

You wait...
You're not going to get a response over the weekend. Especially not a holiday weekend. If you haven't heard anything by Tues midday, send her another email or drop by the chem office to talk to her in person (her desk is immediately on the left when you walk in, iirc).

E-mail the prof, they can waive it.
