Hey guys!

I was just wondering, are the grades for our summer courses included in our avg for the September-April school year or are they separate?
I've taken two courses for the summer and I'm hoping to do well in them and hence boost my gpa for next year, but if they won't be included in the avg then it kinda defeats the purpose.. Unless it helps cuz my course load will be lighter for the full year.

If anyone has any idea about this please let me know

All courses that you take affect your GPA, no matter when you take them.

Yeah I know but I mean every year we have an avg for that year right. If i take ten courses during the fall/winter semesters i get an avg of my grades in those ten courses for that year. So if i take 2 courses in the summer and 8 courses in the fall/winter semesters will my avg for next year include the summer courses or just the courses I take in the fall/winter semesters?

in order for them to review your gpa in aug, which is the end of summer school, you would have to take 6 courses with the permission of your faculty. But in your case they wont look at it till april 2013. They will only review you againafter summer only if you're taking a prerequisite for the program you are applying too. But taking the summer courses will lighten your load during the fall/winter year
