A "core" is a lecture. If a course has multiple lectures at different times, then they will be represented on the timetable as C01, C02, C03, etc. with the "C" standing for "core.

This only happens in large, primarily first/second year courses, where all the students can't fit in the lecture hall at once, and more than one lecture is required to fit all of the students in.

Lol .. A core is basically the main part of your course.. aka your lecture. THose are all the C0#'s on the master timetable
