Random question ...
Are the chairs in residence rooms comfortable?
Or should I bring my own computer chair & store the one provided at home.. am I even allowed to bring my own ?
Thanks !

Unless you have back problems you don't need to bring a computer chair. I would say to test out the chair first before switching though.

A related question, I know I've never seen them, but do they sell chairs at Titles? I really need a cheap-ish one but Canadian Tire is so far away, and I don't think anywhere at University Plaza sells chairs either :/ (Oh, and I live near Dundas)

I think there's a furniture store in the plaza with Crabby Joe's and Baskin Robbins. I'm not sure if they have suitable computer chairs though.

The residence ones aren't horrible, but if you're like me and spend way too much time in your room you'll probably want a more comfy chair than the ones they give you. Which building are you in?
Edit:
I really should just read the info under your name >_<
Anyway, since you're in Hedden bringing an extra chair should be fine. You're not allowed to remove the chair they give you from your room, so in smaller doubles (like Woodstock and Brandon) there can be a space issue if you bring an extra chair.

I hate that about the chairs. I'm always afraid I'll tip back too far and then I realise I'm still on the ground - it's just designed that way. I've taken to sit on the floor when I'm at my friends'.

Not all the chairs are like that, but I know some are. So best be careful the first time you use them XD

I've lived in res for the last two years and find the chairs they give you to be the wrong height to work comfortably at your desk. But then again, I'm rather short, so you might not have this problem, haha
