Lovely, I texted the number back because it asked for confirmation.

It turned out to be a US text message! And therefore didn't fall under my usual text plan (max 10 free texts per day, $0.30 deducted from Fido prepaid balance).

I got two emails, no texts.

Also...I was watching people yesterday when the alarms went off...(people watching before class started)

WHY DID NO ONE REACT?

Yeeaa...I'm not sure that people knew what the sirens were. I heard some funny noises, but they didn't sound like emergency sirens. If it were a real lockdown situation, I might not know that it was one. Unless I just somehow missed the sirens...o.0...

I was in my room at the time (in edwards) and I could hear it loud and clear but they dont sound like emergency sirens at all...It was just a really awk. 2-3 high pitched sounds and no one said "this is a test"

What do you mean why did no one reaact? Didn't everyone get an email telling us about it?

The DCS or Nick Bontis or someone did for me.

I'm confused. Why would anyone react? Lots of students knew it was a test. They weren't supposed to react.

There was a random loud beeping at 2:20ish.

We didn't even see anyone startled...which was the confusing thing.

We all got emails that there would be testing at 2:20, it was on the Daily News and lots of people got text messages about it. I don't know why people would be startled ..?
