All students taking English are required to buy "The Little Penguin Handbook," which tells you how to reference everything and cite everything.
It says: Multimedia sources (music, DVDs, TV programs, interviews) are usually named in text rather than in a parenthetical citation.
Example:
House of Flying Daggers was one of the first feature films to be released on Sony's UMD format for the PSP portable system.
THEN, to reference a film resource in the works cited (a.k.a bibliography), you do it this way:
Lost in Translation. Dir. Sofia Coppola. Perf. Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. Focus Features, 2003. Film.
Okay that's everything according to the 2010 version of MLA! Good luck!
