Registration in Honours Anthropology Program
Hey,

I'm a 3rd year Kin student trying to minor in Anthropology and I was hoping to get into Anthro 2FF3 - Human Skeletal Biology & Bioarchaeology since it sounded like a really interesting course that also relates somewhat to my Kin background. But when I apply on SOLAR it says I don't meet the pre-requisites. I'm assuming it's because I'm not in the Anthro Program. My question is, who do I contact about this because the course outline hasn't been released yet and I don't have the prof's email to contact them. Thanks and good luck on exams everyone!

I was able to get permission for 3FF3 by contacting someone in the department - I don't remember the exact link but on the anthro website there is a page with a list of who you should contact for each course or group of courses.

To get a waiver for the course you contact the course instructor to get their permission and then you would contact Sophie, the anthro undergrad administrative assistant ([email protected] ) and she can open the course for you. You may want to consider taking the course in summer school, it's being offered in May. It's a popular course and usually fills up fast during the year. If the instructor isn't listed on the timetable yet you can just contact Sophie and she'll let you know who to speak to.
