Reinstatement question
I have a question about reinstatement. It was my impression that if you were to get reinstated, it's pretty much a new slate, but I have heard that you keep your old marks? Can someone clarify what it is exactly

It is like a clean slate in that your average will reset, so none of your old marks will count towards your average anymore. You will still keep the credits from the classes you passed, just not the grade. Even though your average resets all your old classes and grades will still stay on your transcript.

Oh ok thank you! I was also wondering if you wanted to change to a new program lets say, would they reinstate you to a new one if you had put it on the form

Yep, if you have the prerequisites to enter the new program you can definitely ask to do that. And it may actually work in favour of your application since you're taking a new direction with you education. Just make sure if you are applying for a different program to stress why you want to make that change and that you've really researched the new program and why you think it'll be a better fit for you.
