Religious Studies 3U03
We had Dr. Clarke as our professor for this course. His personality and humor take some time to get used to but you learn to think he's pretty alright. His lectures are organized and he made it easy to understand. There are many, many new terms to learn. I was advised not to take this course because of my lack of background into the tradition. I didn't do as well as I would have liked, nevertheless, I did survive. There were a few tests and short essays to write. The tests required a strong grasp of the definition of various terms (we needed to know about 80 though for a midterm). It was very interesting. At times we would watch short films about what we had learned and they were comical. It was a night class so I had a hard time focusing. Nevertheless, I'd recommend this course. It's always good to learn about traditions that aren't your own.
