this is from the DSB website:

What are the requirements to be eligible for Honours Commerce in Level 3?
You must have attempted at least 24 units of the course work set out for Commerce 2, you
must have a CA of at least 6.0 and no more than 6 units of “F” grades from the point of entry
to Commerce. (Refer to pages 40-41 of the 2012-2013 Undergraduate Calendar.)

That isn't a very nice thing to say, now is it? Several people have various reasons to explain their own respective situations, be it partying, stress, adjusting to everything or whatever. You simply cannot call people dumb due to the minimum CA being only a 6.0. Please learn some respect, as you'll need it eventually if not now.

You can call me Humza, or herBs. Though, you don't need to be sorry to me or anyone in particular I suppose. I believe there are at least some people who try very hard, but still fail a few times prior to succeeding. In that case, I believe determination and perseverance is key.

That is one thing someone can conclude. Another thing someone can conclude is, the way the assessments are done don't align with the strengths of the person in question. Someone can be very intelligent and clever in a specific domain, and if you ask them to create some sort of piece of work to prove it, they'll make something very nice. Though, if you give them an exam on it, they will perform horribly. You have to take many things into consideration before jumping to any conclusions. Feel free to create an account, and PM me to continue this conversation as this thread is slowly getting off-topic now.

You have yourself a good day,

Humza
