Residence application cancelled
Hey all, I got an email a half week ago from McMaster saying my application was cancelled because I failed to pay the deposit on time. I definitely did though in the online form, but neither McMaster or my credit card company have any record of the payment. I am assuming one of two things happened: I typed in the the wrong number accidentally, or I hit submit and the site dropped the connection (which, from trying to log on to MUGSI, seems like a ridiculously common occurrence).

Essentially this means that even though I was under the impression that I'd paid the deposit, I didn't find out that I hadn't until after the deadline.

Am I now limited to off-campus housing? Or does anyone have any advice for somehow restoring my residence-guaranteed application?

Thanks - Michael (Arts & Science I)

I'm guessing you didn't print the receipt from paying the deposit?

ye.... im guessing without a receipt, record from the school, or record from your credit card company(the most valid source) youre screwed.. u can still apply and be put on the waiting list.. but i think its might be pretty long now...

Try the waiting list, but i really suggest you look into off campus housing. I was notified that there's more applicants for res this year than last year =S
