Resp
Does anyone know where I'm supposed to get this RESP proof of enrollment form? I don't get it from the bank, I was already there. I can't find it on the Mac website. I called Mac (I can't remember the name of the department, not financial aid though) and sat on hold for almost 2 hours before I gave up.
The person who has the RESP is in another province which slows everything down. RESPs seem to be a heck of a lot more work than their worth. I accepted my offer to Mac and want to send in my res deposit. I'd like take the $600 out of my RESP to pay it, because I don't have that right now. But everyone here is posting about having to show your course registration as proof, which I wont have for months.

Maybe try showing them your letter of acceptance and some sort of document confirming that you have accepted that offer?
When I was getting my students line of credit, I just had to bring in my acceptance letter. RESPs obviously aren't the same thing so I don't know if that will work, but it's worth a try. Or you could ask RBC specifically what documents they need. I know you don't GET the documents from them, but they should know what documents they need for you to withdraw from your RESP.
If all they'll take is proof of enrollment, then you'll either have to wait or see if McMaster can give you some sort of letter.

I had my resp with td bank. I brought my schedule as proof of registration in school. They wrote down the amount, had parents sign with me too and it processed in a few days.

I think mine was the same way, we have to get a form from the school every year to verify the amount. Try calling/emailing the registrar's (I think?) office and see what they say

You can go in to the office of the registrar and ask them for a letter stating that you're a full time student in ___ program and they'll write it up, sign and stamp it on the spot for you. I use it whenever I need to show proof of enrollment for anything.
