Returning Textbook at Titles
So on my receipt it says the last day to return textbooks was Sept 17.
I bought a textbook on Sept 20. Does this mean I can't return it at all?

What irks me the most is their buyback system, if someone offered to buy a textbook back from me for 9 bucks when I paid $ 75 im pretty sure they're getting punched in the face. And are the selling it for $9? the nerve.

This.

I have a completely sealed $170 Physics book and when I went to buyback, they were about to tear the seal off.

I just took the book back -_-

Also I've been told used books are priced firmly at 75% of the original price.

The most disgusting thing that happened to me in terms of textbooks happened in my sociology course, some girl found our textbook on amazon.ca for half the price of Titles' listed price. Despite this the professor told us we should still buy it from titles and tried to make excuses as to why the one on amazon was probably a different edition, used, etc....

Are you not taking the course anymore? If you have a perfectly legit reason, you can go to the Text office of Titles, and talk to someone there.

I don't think so, but I just remember sitting there in shock as our professor stood in front of the class making up excuses as to why we shouldn't save ourselves $50 because, according to her "amazon takes almost a month to ship things..."

What a joke.
