Review My Timetable Please :D
Hi everyone,

I apologize for yet ANOTHER timetable post but I just want to hear everyone's input on how it is and how I can improve. I'm in First Year Engineering by the way. Please and thanks!

hahaha. What are with all of these crazy engineering timetables!? I'm glad I never took all that stuff. I'll give you my suggestions later tonight.

WOW, your Friday's 1st term are brutal! Is there any way you can change that? Your Monday's are pretty nice.. see if you can move stuff into there, because that A) Friday is the end of the week and you'll be tired and B) It's so much easier to spread out everything instead of it being mushed into one or two days.

2nd term isnt too bad though I know labs are hard to change, but if there's another time you would prefer (like that Engineering 1C03 lab on Mondays), you should try to change it as soon as SOLAR opens up.

Thanks Mitch and Samantha. Yeah I know my Fridays are horrible. Just hope there are spaces left for changes on Monday.

One thing I like about your timetable is that all your classes are pretty much concentrated within the JHE-ABB-BSB-MDCL-HSC area, which is fantastic, because they're all so close to each other. Keep that in mind for later-- travelling distance can make a big difference, especially when you have **** profs or TAs that hate late people.

Here is a list of what I think I should do:

Term 1
- Move 2 lectures from Friday to either Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
- Move 1 lecture from Wednesday to either Monday/Tuesday/Thursday

Term 2
- Move 1 lecture from Monday to Wednesday

I think I've found my solution for the horrible Fridays in Term 1:

Change Engineering 1D04 Core 1 (Fridays 10:30 - 11:20) to Engineering 1D04 Core 2 (Tuesdays 13:30 - 14:20). At least I'll have a break rather on Fridays rather than 5 straight lectures!

Change Chem 1E03 L59 (Fridays 14:30 - 17:20) to Chem 1E03 L51/L52 (Mondays 14:30 - 17:20)

Below is a photoshopped version of my schedule if these changes are accepted .

Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with Term 2, except for that Monday morning Lab. I was wondering if I should move that to 2:30 - 5:20 PM on the same day??

Great improvements! Getting rid of Friday labs is a must! Moving a Monday morning lab depends on what you'd prefer. Waking up earlier and getting it over with, or sleeping in and working later.

Thanks a lot Mitch. I just have one more thing to think about, the Physics tutorial/lab on Wednesdays in Term 1. I was wondering what would be more beneficial: If they stayed there or moved in the same time slot on a Thursday?

Thanks again!

EDIT: I changed Physics 1D03 T09 and L09 (Wednesdays 14:30 - 16:20/17:20 EOW) to Physics 1D03 T13/14/15 and L13/14/15/16 (Thursdays 14:30 - 16:20/17:20 EOW)
