Okay, so when the first train arrives, he fixes his watch by setting it forward 3 mins, but it's still running five minutes behind.
Now, train #2 starts on time, let's say 5:00, but this is according to his watch, so really the train started 5 minutes late, so 5:05.
Now the train travelled 25% faster. So that's: 65 minutes/1.25 = 52 minutes.
This means the train arrives at 5:57. But the station shows it arriving on time, which means that it should have arrived at 6:05. So the station clock is fast by 8 minutes. *fingers crossed*

Since it's going 25% faster, you divide the 65 minute original travel time by 1.25 (representing 125%)

I originally had that the station would have the time of 6:05 (an hour after 5:05 when the train left). But it should have been 6:00 (an hour after the original departure time of 5:00), so it's only three minutes fast instead of eight.

All that's wrong with his watch is that it's five minutes behind real time. So you just need to adjust for that.
