Definitely contact them. Remember your room mate might be thinking the same thing!

Yep I was thinking the same thing.. what to say.. etc.. but then I got an e-mail from both of them .. So turns out.. I should've contacted them anyway. Just introduce yourself.. full name.. program.. Just so they get an idea and a good first impression

Yep definitely.. and as soon as they reply back.. you'll have a conversation going more or less. I think it's a lot better than having no contact with them till the 6 or 7th of September!

I learned that a bunch of first years last year actually met each other in the summer, so you could maybe do that too, depending on where you're all from.

Oohh That's actually an awesome idea/suggestion Danielle . It's better to "break the ice" before school, so the stress is not doubled going into September.

I can't contact my room- mate :( They didn't leave an e-mail, so I guess I 'm just gonna show up unprepared. I would have liked an intro and a friendly get-to-know-each-other chat before though. :(

You could try looking up their name on Facebook.

Only problem with that is that they only have the first name on the Rez appliaction, so it's close to impossible to search them up on facebook :(. Mcinside- it's okay, as long as she have access to your e-mail I don't think it'll be too long before she contacts you . That's what happened to me

In a group? I don't think so but your profile alltogether yes . If you fix your privacy settings, others would only see your first name. That's how my settings are anyway

I actually looked for her in the McMaster Class of 2013 group and didn't get anything. I also tried the general search and got a dozen pages full which, in the end, rendered nothing. Oh well it really doesn't matter, I'll meet her soon enough
