2 ounces white rum
1 lime(s)
Coca-Cola

Not a big fan of rum, but its sure a popular drink!

I disagree with your recipe Chad for one simple reason! White rum is made to be used in cocktails. A rum and coke is not exactly that.

My personal favourite:

3 parts gold rum (Havana Club reserve is easily my favourite, it's sweet enough to make this drink amazing, while fiery enough for some kick)
4 parts coke
1 wedge of lime.

use a rocks glass, 2 cubes of ice.

pretend i rated it a 10..

I'm gonna have to say that spiced rum and coke is the best way to do it

I'd have to say that the classic rum & Coke with lime (aka the Cuba Libre) is my all-time favourite mixed drink. Appleton Estates is my personal favourite rum but I haven't tried them all.
