I didn't fail at anything. I spoke out against comments stating erroneous facts... the thread topic is irrelevant when the contents of that thread are delusionary.
Also, the OP states "due to high workloads, finding a mate is improbable". Comments stating "relationships create the worst goals" are hardly helpful, since the OP is clearly wanting a relationship of one type or another. Using your logic, your comment is just as useless as mine.

I prefer to think of the money I save come Valentines, birthdays, and especially Christmas. My last Christmas with a gf cost me about $1200, not including time off work. This Christmas will cost me a bus ticket home, which I will probably get covered by my folks anyway.
Keeping my money makes me happy ;D

Single people are/need to be happy that way and people with significant others are/need to feel happy too. I don't see why everyone's saying this way or that when it's obvious people have their own preferences(not saying you can't express them lol).
If OP is single and wanting someone, I suggest just picking up something you're interested in and joining a club or some kind of community. Or even just go out one night. It depends what you're into I guess. With exams and holidays looming, I would suggest something quiet, where you can meet someone caring, but that's just me.

Regardless of exams and holidays, quiet is the way to go to meet people. Last thing you want to do is hit the bars. Nothing good ever comes from that.
Back home, Chapters is the place to go Idk about here though.

Being single is awesome. I get to spend all my money on things I enjoy.
I don't have to worry about not satisfying someone else. This might be selfish but it's what makes me happy.
I have been in a serious relationship before (3 years) and it sucked balls for the most part.
There's plenty of time finding a mate once you are stable enough emotionally and financially. All the raging hormones in your teen years force you to make terrible decisions.
Enjoy being single for now. Know your priorities.

Oh btw, I did burst under the stress, I told two of my profs what I really thought of their courses today, and it wasn't very complementary. I just hope they don't take it too too seriously xD

I see nothing wrong with being single or lonely but we all have our opinions. Some people think spending all that money on someone you care about it is worth it.

Yep. That's the point. Do whatever floats your boat.
Just keep in mind what your priorities are.

Haha, wow. =/
Me, personally, I like having a "mate" as you call it, haha,
If I had to choose being single or in a relationship, I'd pick the latter.
But I mean, single life isn't bad. Some people even CHOOSE to be single.
Many of us can't even find time to spare to go into a relationship. =/
Both have their pros and cons.
But meh, we're all pretty young (everyone but Reeves, haha, joking) so we allll have time to find someone great. No rush. Just go with the flow.

It's all about living the 3 C's of life.
Chicks,
Cash, and
Cristal
Try for at least 1 of the 3.
But hey, if relationships aren't your thing, probably focus on Cristal.

loneliness and being alone are two different things.
But yeah no one likes to be lonely just go for drinks with a friend or something, it will make you feel better. Or call them if they aren't nearby.
