Each scholarship has its own requirements, such as academic standing (GPA), athletic or community participation, or demographics (economic status, heritage, challenges, etc.). Some scholarships may also require references or for an applicant to write an essay.

Some scholarships require a higher GPA, but 10.0 should be sufficient for most.

Just having a 10.0 average won't get you a scholarship. You need more than that - sometimes it's something simple such as your program, hometown or heritage, but other times it's more complicated. Rarely are scholarships based solely on your average.

Lulz, in today's academic culture, all one needs to do for a 10.0 is cry to a couple Profs No offense if you worked for it --- That's excellent... I'm just saying that all too many 10.0's come out of tears these days.
