Science 2C00
Do we pick this tonight as well, while choosing our other courses??

Should it be done first or second semester//or it doesn't matter?

Yes and if it's required for something in second semester (Co-Op placement or another course) you should take it in first semester. Otherwise it doesn't matter. It may be full if you don't have priority but if there are any priority seats which aren't taken then they will be open in August when SOLAR reopens after sectioning.

Yep, you pick it tonight as well. Also, it doesn't matter, but maybe it's better to get it over in first term, assuming you're applying to co-op at the end of Year II.

Is this a difficult course? Or just one of those courses where you learn the information.

It's a 0 unit course, so it doesn't affect your average. It's just to learn important skills related to careers/jobs.

Not difficult at all. You really don't do anything except for 4 reflections which are reasonably short. And you don't have to do them until like the last day if you're a procrastinator (like me). Like jhan said you mainly just go to learn career related skills.

Very easy, 7 hours of class and 4 reflections needed ( can be submitted anytime until the last day of class, done online). You learn things like, your personality type, strength, weaknesses, communication, resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, effective job search, etc. Also, the course-ware is really useful!

Since it's a zero credit course, would I be fine adding this course on top of having five courses per semester?

Oh yea, definitely. It was really more of a fun sort-of self-exploratory/useful tutorial for me. Total of 7 hours of class and I ended up doing all 4 reflections in like 2-3 hours.

Yes, that's what people typically do...if not, you'll be 3 units short (unless you took a course in summer school). It doesn't count as any credits for anything.

Does this mean you can't apply to co-op for level III if you take it during the second semester of your level II?

You can (that's what I did), it's just more beneficial to do it in term 1.

particle says thanks to nerual for this post.

Isn't the only difference of finishing it in term 1 just that it's over with early?

And you've learned the stuff by the time you're applying to co-op/summer jobs...
