Science Fiction and Fantasy Club executives wanted!
Hey everyone! My name is Andrew and I am planning on starting up a Science Fiction and Fantasy club on Campus.

The purpose of the club is to create a comfortable environment for sci-fi and fantasy fans to meet each other, create friendships and grow a sci-fi/fantasy society here on campus.

I have many ideas on events we can hold.

Movie nights (Theatre and home movies)

Socials (we can possibly have topic socials) (ex. Star Trek night, Star wars night, etc)

If anyone has any ideas please feel free to let me know!


If anyone is interested in helping me create this club, please contact me asap. Applications for creating new clubs are available in a couple weeks.

I have to read over the application before I know exactly what positions need filling.

Well, I needed to have 10 people email me and tell me that they were interested in forming the club. Unfortunately, although people expressed interest here, no one emailed me for the time of the application date. So there was no time to prepare and do the application.

The invitation is still open for an unofficial club.

Will you be trying again next term? I wasn't aware you were asking for e-mails based on interest, else I would definitely have signed up! I thought you were looking for Execs still.

Yes, I was still looking for execs. I needed 4 execs and 6 "dedicated" members in order to fill out the application process. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get enough people. Yes, I will be trying again. I think it's important to establish something unofficial to be ready for the next application process. I would be happy to talk about a meeting in January to discuss the future of this group. Those that are willing to help me create this group, please email me so I can set up an email list and we can go from there. Email again is: [email protected]
