Kin is a direct entry program from high school, so to get in afterwards you'll need to transfer in. Talk to your academic adviser about it - I think you need to submit an application.
Last year it was 9+ with application. But yea you can't transfer into second year kin. You start in first year.

I don't know about the cut-off for transferring into second year. However, if you have to start over again from first year, the cut-off for our class was 88% according to my stats prof. So I'm assuming around a 9/10 at least?
