It all depends on what you're aiming for. For those of us who want med school, anything under 11 or 12 doesn't cut it..

As someone who wants to go to medical school I disagree. Half 10's and half 11's will give you a competitive GPA. As long as you get a bunch of 12's over the course of four years in there as well there is room for the occasional 7, 8, or 9 in a hard subject.

Failed most of the class on the presentations :/.

I got a 10, but I definitely felt like I put in more work than that...

Meh, stupid non-sensical prerequisite for software engineering done :p.
I have a feeling you had the same TA that I had...

Was he a short jewish looking guy with a ridiculous "Amadeus" Mozart-esque laugh?

I'm definitely not suggesting that I have a stellar GPA lmao but I have higher expectations for myself because of med school.

I definitely agree with you, but I'm talking more in terms of personal expectations.

Uh, lmao, she's saying you can get a mark less than 11 and still be fine for med school - herself being an example of someone who got a 6 in a course and was still fine.

I thought that in BIOLOGY 2C03 (Genetics) it was really difficult to get a 12. I had it first term with Dr. Patel and Dr. Beddard and even though midterms was pretty fair, the exam raped everyone. The tutorials were easy mark-boosters, but even then I'd say it was a GPA killer. Dr. Patel was a decent prof, but no one could understand anything that Dr. Beddard was saying.
