September 4th and 5th First Year
Hi everyone!

September 4th and 5th -> Is it ok to not go to these classes? Are they only introductions to the courses?

Thanks

Some people don't go to them, but some profs like to do a lecture on those days.

I'd like to know the answer to this too

I did read a post in one of the forums where someone stated that you'd just be sitting outside your class wondering where everyone is...but I'm going to show up for classes regardless, as I don't know if that person even knew what they were talking about

It's dependant on the prof.. some just give you the course outline and tell you to bugger off... others actually go through and do a lecture (Though it'll prob be something simple).

usually in first year they just give you a course outline and read through it

dont go, not worth it

ESPECIALLY if you have faculty events going on (like GEK or bus pull)

Yeah I'm stuck in that same situation, Gek or course + club meeting to sell used old books.
