After reading the stories posted here, I'm pretty sure a 2 decades of Internet have basically desensitized me to extreme stories...

This one's pretty meh. I think about two or three of the (in real life) serial killers who Hannibal Lecter was based on (The Silence of the Lambs) had done far worse than that. Eating body parts of your victim isn't /that/ uncommon.
And anyways, people are different. With one person, he/she may be squeamish around blood or other things no matter how much exposure he has (I can watch most gory movies but can't stand the sight of a gaping wound IRL), and another may be able to take it first-time-'round.
Personally, blood and saddistic murders and stuff like that doesn't really affect me (at least in movies). It's mostly spinal taps, any neck or non-periferal incisions, or anything similar to what happened in Guts (not sure how to classify them).

Yeah, that is why I choose to remain anonymous on here.
Thoughts?
EDIT:
What's the most kinkiest/outrageous stuff you have heard of or read about in the realm of sex/sexuality?

I hate when people want to have a discussion but dont post an answer to their own question.

I hate that it's so hard to find evidence in our culture that sex is good, natural, healthy, and safe. Am I mistaken?
Yeah there's a reason I didn't answer my own question as I stated already I am anonymous and am willing to give more information about my kinky side. In the past I have not gotten very good responses from my ideas so I am waiting for someone else to set the bar.

Uhh, every living thing (excluding those that reproduce asexually) has sex. It's everywhere in nature, and people have been having it since people came about. That's why you're here. To question if sex is natural is pretty stupid.
Is it good? Depends.
Is it healthy? Not sure. There are many reports of sex being healthy, and some independent studies, but no hard statistics to prove anything. But, it isn't unhealthy. From a species evolutionary standpoint, it's healthy.
Is it safe? It's up to you.

That story is like, really...really old..and not that disturbing :/
Anyways, I've seen some pretty messed up things on the internet but I don't think they've affected me.
Also listen to Dan Savage a lot, which is not 'messed up' at all, but a great look into human sexuality in terms of homosexuality, heterosexuality, and a lot of things in between. @ [email protected]
Some seriously messed up stuff on the 'net though..

In other news, nobody understands the power of sex more than someone who currently isn't having any.

Well yeah I didn't say those things aren't true I'm saying it's hard to find evidence. To be more specific I'm talking about media representation since that is a strong force of mass communication.

Wow, why does this sound like bullying? Especially with the people 'liking' it.
Well thinking back I probably understand the power of sex more when I'm having it. I mean when I was with my girlfriend and saw how powerful the stuff was I felt more like a god than I do now. So in other news, Kendoon isn't always right .

Here's rule number one (or twenty-something; not sure) of life.
Don't live your life according to media.
If you do, you're screwed.

If the media says it, it must be true.
