Shave For A Cure

Shave For A Cure

During the halftime of this Saturday's playoff football game (October 27th), twenty brave volunteers will step out onto center field to have their heads shaved by McMaster students and dignitaries. The funds they raise will go towards supporting the pediatric division of the Canadian Cancer Society. Each year, our goal is to raise $20,000 for this worthy cause, and we have come quite close in recent years. If you or someone you know would like to have their head shaved, shave someone else's head, or simply raise money for Shave for a Cure, please contact one of the fundraising coordinators, Melissa or Eugenia, at [email protected] il.com. They will assist you in giving more information about the event and details such as filling out pledge forms, submitting tax receipts, gathering donation boxes, and preparing overheads for classroom presentation. Thanks for helping a great cause!
