Should I bring my high school stuff?
I didn't throw out my Gr 12 stuff just in case I might find use of them.
Did you ever use any of your highschool notes (mostly math and science) in university or should I just throw them out?
I was going to bring them but they are a little heavy.

Don't bring them when you move in. You're likely not going to use them. If you do find you want to use them, you can always arrange to get them later.

I wouldn't bother - anything that you need to go back over from highschool will either be covered in class or already in your textbook. Failing that, I garuntee you it's on the internet.

Bring your Calc stuff if you're taking Calc 1A03. 90% is review from high school and some profs give crap notes when they're "reviewing".

I personally wouldn't bother. Your textbook will answer your questions and you'll have TAs and other students if the situation gets desperate enough.

Lol, I did really well in that course, plus I didn't take much notes Lol
I kept my chemistry stuff. My teacher ended up teaching us more than the curriculum. It was and still is so confusing, lol. Hopefully the light will shine after taking chemistry in University.

Realistically, you won't end up reading over your old notes. Like for math things, maybe a formula sheet or something of the sort but not all of your notes. You're gonna definitely do a ton of review.

Ok, this might seem like a ridiculous question, but speaking of highschool stuff... will I need to bring binders and folders? Right now I've just got my laptop and a stack of notebooks. Also, should I have a bigger/smaller backpack from the one I used in highschool (it was pretty much your average sized Jansport knapsack)?
Thanks

For backpacks...It depends...
Okay, most irritating answer ever, I know.
It depends on how many classes you have each day, how many notebooks you use for each class, how long you will be staying on campus etc.
If you have an hour of class you're not going to lug around all your stuff for the week. If you're there for most of the day with classes off and on you may want to bring more stuff than you would on other days if you plan on staying on campus. If you live in res...you could be doing a mixture of either of what I mentioned.
As for your notebooks, to whatever works best for you. They're YOUR notes.
