Not really. I have a nice enough shoe collection and I rather enjoy public transportation.

The storm tonight and tomorrow has been upgraded to a "blizzard warning", meaning strong winds and low visibility.
Drive safe! Stay warm!
Environment Canada: "This is the first widespread blizzard warning for Southern Ontario since March 1993, during the 'storm of the century'. "

As for Mac letting us know if the school is closed by 5:30am - don't count on it. There have been 2 snow days in my 5 years at Mac, and both of them were announced between 8:15-8:30am (when you're already at school.. ugh).

event cancelled:
esident's Awards & Provost's Honour Roll cancelled
Posted on February 01, 2011 at 02:00 PM.
In light of weather forecast for this evening and the potential for significant snowfall and dangerous driving conditions, the decision has been made to postpone the President's Awards & Provost's Honour Roll reception. The safety of students and their guests is our top priority.
A rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible.
