Soc sci courses help !!!
Hi i am starting in september as a soc sci student
and i need help choosing courses
i was wondering if anyone knew what courses are required for me to take?
and what courses are interesting for me to take??
Also, i want to take biology first year but all the cores are full and i can't get in to it is there any way i can get in some how???

you havent picked courses yet? Course selection was back in June =S that's why you'll find a lot of courses full by now.

I believe bio 1A03 is only available to science students.

You should have picked courses months ago, and paid fees already...Talk to an advisor ASAP. You probably won't get into many of the more popular courses.

There are no REQUIRED courses for first year soc sci students, they are all electives. The idea of this is to basically introduce students to all of the academic branches of the social sciences that they could pursue in their further years. All courses are pre-requisites to second year courses for particular specific programs that need to be applied for, so you can work backwards if you know what you want to go into, or just pick courses you think you'll like and you'll end up majoring in something you enjoy; which is the ultimate goal anyway!!
