Hey, I have a friend who got accepted to Soc Sci 1, he is planning to apply to Neuroscience lv 2 however on the mac site it says he needs to take either calc 1a03 or calc 1ls3 or a c minus calc 1Mo3. The problem is he cannot take any of these courses because he did not take advanced functions of calc in gr 12. his acceptance package however says he could take calc 1k03 (calc advanced functions makeup) to be eligible for year 2 neuro. It does not mention 1k03 on the site...

Any advice?

Yeah, he'll need to take Math 1K03 if he didn't take advanced functions in high school. Not sure why it doesn't mention this on the site...

I'm pretty sure 1K03 is still a listed course, it's listed on the master timetable and course listings.

I didn't exactly take 1M03 (I dropped it when I was in 1st year) I found it a bit hard after calc in gr.12.....but that's just me. ^_^;

oh it is still listed as a course i meant it is not listed on the admission for year 2 neuroscience psych, but it is listed ofr admission in the package he recieved

or what I did was take Math 1f03 then take 1ls3

No. Take 1A03, you'll probably learn a lot more.
