So as of 2015, the MCAT is going to consist of less Physics and instead there will be more Psychology and Sociology.
I am already taking Psych 103 and Psych 1XX3. My other electives are Envir Sci 1A03 and Anthro 1AB3.
But I'm considering dropping Envir Sci 1A03 and Anthro 1AB3 and taking Soc 1A06 instead.
How is the workload and the course in general? Is it really needed for the MCAT

Since no one has taken the new MCAT, no one can tell you whether or not it would be beneficial, however, no course is "required" for the MCAT. Many people just self-study.
