Soft 3K04 - 3X03 conflict (Tron students should be worried)
So here I am applying for next year, and... wtf, I get 2 course with no cores to choose from in the same time slot on the same days. Is that a joke? Haha, very funny McMaster, you got me.

What's going on? What do I do? Do I just wait before they fix it? Will they fix it before the mess that is going to be the first lecture?

And I can't really do anything, as it is required for Tron students to take this year.

Sigh, one of my friends (in the Tron and Management programme) has the same issues across the table with multiple courses.

Your best bet would be to go talk to the either the academic counselors or the supposed 'head' of Tron (whoever that's supposed to be).

Honestly, it's a bit vexing when they ask you to pick courses and they conflict and there's nothing to do about it. In my case, it's a couple of technical electives that are conflicting so it isn't that bad. But still, they need to fix the organisation of all this stuff.

Making a Tron timetable...

... is like when someone dumps several puzzles into a pile, and tells you have to assemble them all in one hour or else they are going to stuff you into an old refrigerator filled with flesh eating cockroaches.

You should email the department...this is a fairly common occurrence across multiple faculties.

Usually they reschedule one of the courses.

The issues will likely be ironed out by the time school starts. The course time table, even though they say it's "final" is actually undergoing constant revision all the way up to the end of the school year.
