Yeppp- but the trick (in my experience) is to try to log onto MUGSI at around 11:30, because you are allowed to stay on for 45 mins
so even if you get in right at 11:30 you will still have 15 mins left to try to get into SOLAR- which is more then enough time to try to get your electives - so even if you get kicked out after that it doesnt matter cause you are guaranteed your other courses

Getting in at 11:30 is ridiculously hard... :/

I have used the same technique for 1st year and for summer school and it worked rly well- i admit you have to try many timess- but i will share my secret (SHHH!) don't move your mouse you will save a TONNE of time

just have your cursor positioned above the MUGSI link and have your other hand positioned to press Alt+F4, once the box pops up that says you didnt get in- quickly press Alt+F4 and reclick your cursor- it gets you in wicked fast
+ extra tip sign into grade reports first and you will be already signed in- once you get a slot into MUGSI and you will just have to click the continue thing after that shpeel message
