Register for the course, send the professor an email about it. They will have to open up space for you and probably a few others as well.

If it won't let you register either call the prof tomorrow or speak to the Faculty about it tomorrow. They will fix it!

thanks thanks.. actually i looked on the course time table and it does not have the profs name yet. I did notice that there are 3 labs (third one is blocked) and only two labs appeared on Solar. What does blocked lab mean?

What do you mean by blocked?

Is it full...or does it say blocked?

In time table it says in red besides Lab 3 "BLOCKED" and so only Lab 1 and Lab 2 are available to choose from but they are full.. but the course is still open. Does Lab 3 get opened later?

I don't know! I've never heard of that happening before!

As mentioned earlier, email the Prof. I think they are scheduling three labs if neccessary, but are trying to keep students in two full labs, rather than three not-so-full ones.

This would be for summer school. Sept registration is later in the summer!

Sinthusized: if you don't know who the prof is call the Faculty, they will know and be able to direct you better.

Thanks for your help. Lorend you are kind of known for replying 'I don't know'. I emailed the faculty and they opened up the lab. I was just wondering why things were blocked.

She's known for saying I don't know???

I would have said the same thing. I've never heard of a course being "blocked" so... I don't know either! She gave you advice to seek those in a higher position, like the prof/faculty, so where is the problem here?

In five years I had never heard of a course being blocked, so I think it's pretty fair for me to say that I don't know why that is.
