If it is full you can't select it or switch into it. However you are allowed to contact your faculty and ask that they open more seats for the class. If enough people request, then they may open it up to more students.
I'm not sure how successful that is, since it is new this year.

If it is a course required for your program, however, you are supposed to be guaranteed a spot. So, if you don't get into let's say...Bio 1A03 Amara* contact your faculty office ASAP.

UPDATE: Note that timetables should be letting you in again now.
Also, hold off on updating your payment agreement if you want to be able to make changes in SOLAR, because there is currently a bug being fixed where once you re-confirm your Payment Agreement you become not able to get into SOLAR. This is being corrected.
In the meantime, try and make your changes in SOLAR before confirming your PA again.

what are the chances of an elective opening up a spot? im trying to switch my spot in term 2 of cmst1a03 to term one because in term 2 i'll be taking 6 courses and only 4 in term one... i wanna balance it out.
how often do courses free up space?

CMST 1A03 is a requirement for students wanting to get into communication studies honor program.. so you have a good chance that if it is full you can request more seats to be opened

most likely not. although, you can still try.
and if you're hoping for a minor you can still take the class in second year and still have enough space (and time) to complete the amount of credits you require.

And this is why you do all your course re-arranging during the break.

Hello I have a question that I really hope can be answerd asap...
I really need a student opinion that has gone through this before on which is more appropriate for a life science student: MATH 1LS3 or MATH 1AO3 I'm currently enlisted in math 1ao3 but i got an email saying that it is strongly recommended that is hould take math 1ls3...but that also means i'm not goingt o be able to take math 1aa3 which i've registered for as an elective lol...(unless i get an average over 10....but if i don't...then...well anyways it's all sorts of problems).
Also I'm wondering if students in the Health Science program can aslo take the MATH 1LS3 as an option and is that a good option for them or etc.
It'd be great if someone coul drespond to my problem ><

Well, Math 1SL3 is brand new this year...so I'm afraid no one can really give you any experience based on their classes to answer your question.
So...you need to make the call on your own!

When I went to pay for my for my courses etc, in the payment agreement it said that its $4592.93 but for all my options on my residence form i selected the double room with washroom. Shouldnt that be $4625?
Another thing is that on the box on the left top corner it said the following
Residence: DEFAULTED
Is there something that i have done wrong or is this a common problem?

I think it's because residence hasn't been assigned yet. You won't necessarily get the room you applied for (if none of your selections are available you will be given something else) so the payment has been defaulted to the least amount. So essentially you're just agreeing to pay for residence. Once the assignments are in the agreement will probably change, and when you pay you'll be paying the amount for the room you are assigned to.
