Help
Okay! SO. During my time using SOLAR I discovered that the math course 1F03 is FULL! and I NEED that to get into my second semester course 1M03, which is needed to get into my second year program! My question is, what do I do at this point? Do I call McMaster and ask them for an academic advisor from that faculty? Do you think I will be able to get into these classes considering that they are neccesary for my degree???

hey luckduck. yes you should definately speak with an academic advisor. For some classes that are full and are required for your program, they will make sure you get in and open spots for you. Speak with someone from your faculty that you need to get in to the program, and they should be able to follow up for you and get you in the course.

No. That's why you are told to record the number.

How come we need the confirmation number? I also didn't print mine because I don't have a printer. What will happen if I don't have it?

Is it the confirmation number in our P.A.?
If so then I can still access it no problem...if not then I'm not sure which confirmation number is needed.

You can copy and paste the number into an email, which is what I usually do (and save paper!!). No, the confirmation number only is available after you've confirmed, which is why you're told to take a record of it.

If you ever need to prove something you did (ie you registered for a course, but it disappeared) you can no longer do so, as the confirmation number only pops up after you have finished making changes in a session.
