Solar time frame
What is the limited access time for solar once you log in?
20min? 40min?

Would it be possible for me to log into solar before course registration begins and then choose subjects after the course registration opens?

So say the registration begins at 12:00am and the limited access time is 20min.
If I log in to solar at 11:50pm and wait till 12:00am, I will be able to access the course registration at 12:00am and be able to choose the courses in 10min(time left in limited access), right?

There's a 45 minute time-limit once you're logged into solar.
You can log into solar before-hand, but that won't do you any good, cuz the course selection page will only be available on the day & time of course registration.
You won't be able to log into solar @ 11:50 as there will already be an overload of students on the system at a time 10 mins from the opening time of the course registration page. I know several ppl who've logged into solar earlier (11:35 ish) and got kicked out in less than the 45 min. time period.

Sequence (if you're confused): log into MUGSI --> log into SOLAR --> Click on course registration page (which is only available at the time assigned)

.. Oh & also, if you're thinking of refreshing the SOLAR once you're in - don't. cuz' u'll get kicked out.

Probably because, however briefly, it feels nice to succeed. ;__;
