I'm thinking of taking Spanish as an elective and I was wondering if it's doable, I do speak, read, and write fully in spanish so any advice on the course, teachers, exams etc. please.

If you're referring to 1z06, you should not be taking this course if you already have fluency with Spanish. Or do you mean 1a03? As far as I know, french is the only course that has the code '1a06'.
it is a beginners course so its completely doable esp if you have a background in spanish...but just keep in mind that it is worth 6 units = one FULL YEAR course. So it would count for 2 electives.
