starbucks or second cup on campus?
so is there starbucks or second cup on campus? i am curious to know because i really dont like tim hortons and i didnt see any any of the two during my campus tour

there a starbucks in the hospital. not a full one, but mini that sells the basics.

No, we don't have Starbucks or Second Cup. Just buy a French press and a grinder - make your own coffee. It'll be much better than Starbucks (which is generally overpriced rubbish anyway) and cheaper in the long run too!
Unless you're commuting...then I guess you'll have to live with Union Market coffee.
EDIT: apparently we have one in the hospital I didn't know about...

I thought I saw a second cup in the basement of tsh/kth next to two vending machines... but I may be mistaken as I've never bought anything from there. I've only passed by when it was closed on my way to night classes... lol

There's a second cup off campus, it's about a 5 minute bus ride maybe even less. HSR is free for MSU students (I believe it's a minimum of 18 units).

If you are commuting from mississauga then u can get ur morning coffee right next to the go station @ square one, there is a huge starbucks there. get ur coffee/latte/etc and hop on the bus !

There's a small one in the hospital as was mentioned. Otherwise, it's just Tim Hortons and 3 William's Cafes.
Also, there's a Starbucks that's 15 mins away by bus (address: 158 Locke Street South) and a Second Cup that's 5 mins by bus or a 15 minute walk (1004 King St W)

I'm pretty sure the one in the hospital doesn't have the Starbucks special drinks, White Chocolate Mocha and all that. So that sort of defeats the purpose, unless you go to Starbucks for actual coffee lol.

It's really convenient (if you spend all day in HH), although I think it's a bit more expensive than UM.
As for not drinking coffee - take math 2S and you'll start, haha. |

There's Van Houtte coffee (JHE,BSB), Williams (hospital--both levels, MUSC, Main St), Tims (IAHS, MUSC), Starbucks (tiny little kiosk in the hospital), generic Free trade coffee (Union Market)...
In Westdale, there's Second Cup, My Dog Joe's, Westdale Cafe.... but it's a 15 min walk from campus, and although the bus trip is 5 mins, you have to factor in the waiting time -- buses aren't that frequent.
