I have a friend who is looking to start at mcmaster in january and i heard that Humanities and Nursing are the only programs that offer this. Can anyone confirm or deny this ??

Well you can consider the programs you know of. A lot of courses are offered either in first term or just second term. Take Computer Science for example which you know of Tamir. 1ZA3, 1MD3 and so on are sometimes the prerequisites of courses offered only in second term such as 1ZB3 and 1ZC3.
