I've been doing NaNo since 2007, and it's been offered every year since 2008 or 2009 I believe, so the chances are very high that it'll be offered, but as faer mentioned, it's a year-by-year basis.
edit : createspace is listed as a corporate sponsor for 2011 on the official sponsor page, but they haven't mentioned the proof offer yet, we'll probably hear more about it in this week to come.

EDIT: @ooburii: Definitely 2008, 'cause when I joined in 2009, people were raving about it. So yes. 
Also, no excuses this time. Edited or not, you SHOULD get your novel proofed! You've won it enough times to deserve it! (Mine's not edited, either).

lol nope, I noticed it.
yeahhh, but the due date was in june for accepting the offer, and june was always so hectic because of exams and end-of-term assignments in highschool x(
in hindsight, I should've just printed it without editing.

I edited it in because I didn't want to waste posts. T__T Probably a rule stamped into me because of the old NaNo forums.

And that is where the issue of user fidelity crops up. Nothing to stop you from doing that at all - but once again, it's completely up to you.
Although, you do get scores of people doing Nano in April, June, {insert month of choice ici} so there is that. As an alternative, you could call yourself some sort of deluded Nano Rebel and go ahead and do that.
I guess the thing to remember is that you're as free as you choose to be or as restricted as you want to be.

@Chevalier: To translate, it depends entirely on you. The only benefit you get from doing this is one you bring upon yourself. You CAN do it any other month, too, but the thing about doing it in November is the drive and energy of having hundreds of thousands of other people also doing it.
Plus, there's no point in 'winning' when you haven't actually got a proper novel as a result...LOL.
