Student Account Refunds
Hello everyone, I just had a quick question about how student account refunds are handled at Mac if you had a negative balance from the previous academic session. I tried looking all over the official Mac website and couldn't find the answer.

Do they send you a cheque by mail? Or is it carried over to the next year? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was under the impression that they wrote a cheque if they owed you money, but it was up to you to pick it up (and thus get re-imbursed).

I dropped a summer school class two years ago, and I had to be re-imbursed. But I had to pick it up...and the woman I spoke to looked at me like I had 873983 heads when I said I didn't know I had to pick it up on my own.

You shoud contact Student Accounts and Cashiers.

Yeah I'm under the same impression as Lorend. Last year when they charged graduates the 40.00 fee without asking them they had to reimburse it to all of them which was done by cheque. That I believe was mailed out to them though that might be because they kind of charged every potential graduate without asking them if they would even be attending first. Contact Student Accounts and Cashiers, they will know!

You can definitely always go and ask.. I think I went last year to clarify - I was kind of freaking cause I wasn't sure if the minus meant I owed money or I got money haha. I believe they said that at one point in the year they mail out all the cheques to everyone so yea, wait for then.

I have a question concerning about refunds as well. I payed all my fees and now when i go to my account it says that i have recieved $750 for scholarships. Is there someway to get a refund of $750?

If i am not wrong doesnt $750 get deducted from my tution so since i fully paid my tution would i get $750 back somehow?

That should be the way it goes. I don't see why it wouldn't be. If you like you can contact Student Accounts and Cashiers on Monday.
