Student Accounts
Hey guys, just had a quick question and was hoping someone on this site could answer, i tried calling every department of McMaster today and they were busy and no one picked up.
If paying your tuition online, can you use credit cards like visa or no? i faintly remember reading somewhere you cant but just want to double check.
Also, who do i contact about buying by MacPass over the phone, is it the registrar office or what?
Thanks.

You cannot pay your tuition with a credit card.
For Macpass, call 905-525-9140, extension #26691.

Just to refer back, if you can't pay your tuition with a credit card....how exactly do you pay it?
(im doing my payment online, and in full)
Does it just take money out of your (parents) bank account ??

hey, you have to submit an e-cheque, payable to mcmaster university, and your account number is your student number. and your parents should know how to do it if they use online banking.

For online banking what I did last year and this year, was set up an account for McMaster University using my student number as the account number, then you can just pay a bill in the name of McMaster University for whatever amount that you need to pay. That's how it is with CIBC, I would think that other banks do it similarly.
