Student Accounts and Payment Agreement
Hello!

I swear I've made so many OSAP/Payment Agreement threads X_X

I had about 70 dollars balance forward, so I wanted to pay by credit card. So, I put money in my student account. How do I use that toward my payment? It doesn't really specify on the website...

You can't pay by credit card... That's not an option. If you used your credit card to put money in your student account, it probably went into your meal plan.

Payments for your tuition can only be made my international wire transfer, cheques, money orders, bank drafts, online banking, telephone banking or interac.

This should help: http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/finance/s...html#meth ods

Yeah, I looked at that, and it said Online/Telephone Banking can be used for payments.

"Payments made online through your bank's website (or by your bank's telephone banking service)"

So I followed those instructions they gave... But then, it says this:

"Online/Telephone banking payments will not show on your Payment Agreement. These payments will show on your Account Statement within 3-5 business days (MUGSI / My Student Accounts and Cashiers / Account Statement). It's good practice to view your Account Statement 3-5 days after making this online/telephone banking payment to make sure that your payment has been received and applied toward your balance owing."

Oh ok, so when did you pay? If it was a while ago did you check your account statement? If it was before September 1st, it'll be deducted from you tuition. If it was after September 1st, it'll be in your student account and when they get around to it, it will eventually pay your debt (you'll be charged an extra 35$ late fee though).

I paid on Aug 30, but it didn't process it until today.
So that means they'll take care of it right?

Thanks

If you are charged the late fee, print out your transaction confirmation page and show it to them. Everything else should be taken care of.
