The hospital no longer takes adult emergencies unless the patient is critical...you're told to go to St. Jo's....just a fun little FYI/stupid thing the Hamilton Health Care network decided to set up...

I don't think that change was enacted. I went there a couple of days ago to get a couple stitches. Nothing too critical.

The hospitals in Hamilton have "specialities" - Mac has the Children's Hospital, one has a really good burn unit, one has a really good cardio unit (I believe the Henderson and the General, respectively, but I'm not 100% sure). I also believe that one has a cancer unit, and one that specializes in older patients. The idea was that patients, if picked up by ambulance and not critical, would be sent to the hospital that would best serve them. However, if you walk in, they're not going to turn you away.

There's actually about 6 hospitals in Hamilton. Off the top of my head: McMaster, Henderson General (aka the Henderson), Hamilton General (aka the General), St. Joe's, Chedoke Medical Centre, and St. Peter's. Joe Brant hospital in Burlington is actually almost on the line between Burlington and Hamilton.

Perhaps not getting drunk to such an extent would solve the problem.

Now who want's to sign my petition for the elimination of alcohol on campus?

It was sarcasm... It hasn't happened to me, but it does happen.

And nooooooooo thanks! You can abstain if you like, but don't force it on me!

I was joking lol. But we need a more international flavour to our drinks. Perhaps a beerfest or something similar?
