Hakurei can you please update me with whatever happens, 'cause I kept calling them today and the line was always busy :(
I wasn't able to call them because of a couple of complications but I checked the mailbox this morning and it turns out they mailed the card to me.

Apparently it takes a about a week or two after being fully registered to get the card in the mail.

I haven't gotten mine either. :(
Maybe it's because I just confirmed my payment agreement yesterday morning... lol I didn't know you could change courses after confirming.

Same. I called them and they said you can come in and take your picture at the Registar Office. I would call and see if they are available , depending on what day you are available.

Also, if you leave/graduate Mac, and then decide to come back 5 years later for grad school or something, they WILL expect you to use the same card and will charge you if you want another one...so be careful with it

Even if the card is literally non-usable anymore? Like the picture is faded and the magnetic strip doesn't work?

My picture is really faded, they didn't care
My magnetic strip got demagnetized last year, so they gave me a new one for free--no new picture or anything, though. Actually, the printer was low on ink, so the picture turned out even worse than before :S

I just heard that from one of my TAs though--she left Mac for a while then came back for grad school and they wanted her to pay for a new card.

I guess as long as your face is discernible then it's ok...

That's ridiculous, how much do you pay for graduate school? And they can't afford to give you a card? -_-

But are they open on the weekends or at least the weekend of the move-in?

If you have a meal plan, yes. But you can use money if you don't have a meal plan.

So far, I've applied for courses and I've sent in the New Student Form as well. As for the payment agreement form, I've confirmed my method of payment but haven't paid the initial fee just yet. Perhaps that's the problem? I'll pay it later today.

Any help would be appreciated as I need my student ID card for OSAP certificate pick up. Thank you.
If you confirmed your payment agreement that is not the issue. I have done the same and received my student card several weeks ago.
