Student Membership
Hi there,

I was just wondering what exactly a "Student Membership" entails?

On the website (http://www.athrec.mcmaster.c a/regi...n/students.htm) it says that we get access to David Braley Athletic Centre and Ivor Wynne Centre only and that membership to the Pulse not included.

So if we wanted to join a pilates or yoga class we have to get a Pulse membership?

Also, I was wondering if McMaster has a marathon or long distance running club?

Thanks so much for your help,

J

That is correct, the Pusle is separate. You have to by a membership for that. Pulse is only for the machines and cardio. For classes, you have to sign up for those separately. Not sure what the prices are.

Not sure if there is a club, but you can check the msu website: https://www.msumcmaster.ca/clubs/lis...earchClubs.htm

I believe the indoor track is free. The elliptical would be in cardio so you will need a Pusle membership.

The membership for the Pulse(gym) give you access to weights/machines.

Student fees give you access to the indoor track, basketball nets, badminton, squash, swimming all for free...
