I also have a question. It says:

Quote:
Athletics and Recreation members may purchase a Pulse Fitness Centre membership in addition to their Facility membership.
So does the Athletics and Recreation membership for students only last the fall/winter terms or is it a full year?

Thats why I posted this question, I wasn't sure if I could get a membership because i wouldn't be paying the 100 and something dollars that we pay for 2 semesters.

Are you talking about the Athletics and Recreation membership or the pusle membership?

The Athletics and Recreation membership allows you to enter the building, basically the first gates. The Pulse membership allows you to enter the pulse.

You can buy a 12 month membership to the pulse, my question was about the athletics and recreation membership. Because you can't get to the pulse without passing the first gate.

The Ath & Rec membership lasts only for the terms where you pay the fee - it's not all year round. From what I gather in the Ath&Rec manual, someone who does not have an Ath&Rec membership (ie students during the summer, non-students, etc), you need to pay the appropriate fee for Ath&Rec (something like $30 for 4 months) PLUS the membership for whatever else you want to do.

PS: It's very easy to get into the building without crossing through the card-reading gates.

They actually just fixed that. You have to cross the turnstiles now.

What did they do? You can't get in from IWC anymore?

Yeah... I thought you could just go downstairs in IWC where the huge gyms are, and go through the hallways to DBAC.

I thought everyone meant going through the stadium locker rooms. Yeah, you can get into DBAC from IWC, my mistake.
