Students Move Back Into Brandon Hall
As
previously posted, nearly 600 Brandon Hall students moved back in yesterday after elevators were fixed and the residence
repaired and cleaned. It's great to see the students being able to move back in and the support everyone showed. Many volunteers showed up to help the move in, and McMaster provided shopping carts and professional movers to assist.
While the three elevators were being used, only one was available to students for passenger use. The other two were for freight only and used by the movers.
According to McMaster University spokesperson Andrea Farquhar, "It'll probably take a couple of months to get the next elevator fully operational and then the third one will come online some time after that" (The Spec).
